The Envirobrator
		Lakehead is one of the few companies in the world to own the Envirobrator. The Envirobrator cleans vertical surfaces using steel shot or grit as the blasting media. The hoist system, mounted at the top of the structure being cleaned, raises and lowers the hanger assembly as the blast module oscillates horizontally producing a 6' wide cleaning path. The system can provide Spot, Sweep, Commercial, Near White, or White Metal finishes.
BLASTRAC
Why prepare a surface? Most coating adhesion problems are not the fault of the coating, but the result of poor surface preparation. Pictured here, workers prepare the roof of a tank 180 ft. in diameter.		The BLASTRAC works using the same principle as the Envirobrator and can use a dust containment unit to eliminate the need for total containment.
Trucks, Manlifts, and Blasters

Lakehead Painting owns several International semi tractors and uses them with bulk storage tankers, 1600, 1200 and 1100 CFM compressors, 8-ton sandblasters, million-BTU heaters, de-humidification equipment, dust collectors, and 150' and 80' manlifts, This provides the flexibility we need to handle both large-scale and smaller projects.
